SECURITY INFORMATION
Our members privacy and security is of the utmost importance. All members are created by the system and assigned unique member ID's. Registration is done via the Internet and credit card details are securely submitted on heavily encrypted pages. The complete member account information is stored in a secure database server. Our WWW-Server supports the SSL protocol for encrypted communications while our members are logged into the site (HTTPS) and between our website and the credit card transaction system. All member account and call information is kept strictly confidential, and kept only on secure database servers. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific task (for example, our accounting or support staff) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.
Another security measure is that we register each member's IP address at registration and log on. Although we can not rely on this information, it is possible to become aware of sudden changes in account behavior which can indicate that a member’s account credentials may have been compromised. Please note that in the event that you notice changes to you member account status, you must e-mail us immediately so we can investigate. This ability in no way obligates us to investigate this kind of abnormality.
The harm an intruder can do if the intruder manages to break an account's credentials is limited to using the credentials for calling ONLY. The credentials cannot be used for revealing a credit card number or other sensitive information. We do NOT store credit card information and the credit card validation code (CVC), which ensures the card is in the hand of the member, must be entered for every transaction.
PERSONAL INFORMATION POLICY
We collect the minimum information necessary to create a member account on our site and require only enough information to verify the identity of our customers. The Information is used for the purposes of operating our psychic/advisor services and for keeping our members informed of new developments and promotions (opt-in).
We will never disclose member information to any third party other than as required for the processing of financial transactions or as may be required by a court of law.
REGISTRATION: In order to use this website, a member must first complete the registration form. During registration, a member is required to give their contact information, such as phone and e-mail address. This information is used to use the site and/or to contact the member about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest.
PURCHASE/PAYOUTS: We request additional information from the member in order for them to make a purchase and/or request a payout on the site. Here a member must provide financial information (like credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to process purchases and payouts. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in contact with the member.
COOKIES: A cookie is a piece of data stored on the members hard drive containing information about the member. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the member closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the member would not have to log iN more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. However, if a member rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the member will be limited in some areas of our site. For example, the member will not be able to participate in any of our sweepstakes, contests, or monthly drawings that take place. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our members to enhance the experience on our site. Some of our business partners may use cookies on our site. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.
LOG FILES: We use web logs of visits, which include IP addresses, to analyze trends, administer the site, track member movement, monitor for fraudulent activity, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. The IP address in no way divulges personal information about our members.
NEWSLETTER: If a member wishes to opt-in to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and e-mail address. This is an opt-in/opt-out system and we provide instructions in each newsletter for subscribers to unsubscribe at any time.
SPECIAL OFFERS:
We send all new members a Welcome e-mail to verify e-mail and password credentials. Established members will occasionally receive information on special promotions or services in an e-mail newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our members, we present the option to not receive these types of communications.
SITE AND SERVICE UPDATES: We also send members e-mails with site and service updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service and status of our site, of which they are a member. We communicate with the member to provide requested services and in regard to issues relating to their account via e-mail or postal mail.
UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION: If a member's personally-identifiable information changes (such as zip code or e-mail), or if a member no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that member's personal data provided to us. This can be done by sending a message via our Contact Form.
OPT-IN/OPT-OUT: Our members are given the opportunity to opt-in for special information. For example, our registration page has an opt-in mechanism so members who register with us can also receive special offers about promotions on our site. Members who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials from our partners may opt-out of receiving these communications by following the simple opt-out instructions provided in every e-mail.
NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES: If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our members are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected. If at any point we decide to use personally-identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify members by way of e-mail. Members will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner.
